Sonya Medina Williams
Sonya Medina Williams is a Board of Director for Papa John’s International as well as a government and public affairs strategist. She has served as a consultant to the City of San Antonio since March 2015, and as a consultant to Silver Eagle Distributors, the nation’s largest distributor of Anheuser-Busch products, since July 2013. She served as Vice President of Community and External Affairs for Silver Eagle Distributors from 2009 to 2013. Prior to joining Silver Eagle Distributors, Medina Williams served under the George W. Bush Administration from 2001 to 2006 and again in 2008 as Deputy Assistant to President George W. Bush and Director of Projects to First Lady Laura Bush. From 2006 to 2008, she served as Director of the AT&T Global Foundation. She is active in community and civic affairs and currently serves on the Next Gen Board Leaders Advisory Council, a joint initiative launched by Nasdaq, Spencer Stuart and Boardroom Resources.
