Empowering Uganda’s Next Generation of Innovators: A STEM Fellowship for Women

In Uganda, the future of innovation is being shaped by bold, brilliant women scientists, engineers, technologists, and mathematicians who are ready to lead change. Teach For Uganda will soon launch a new STEM-focused fellowship designed specifically for female graduates who are passionate about education equity and eager to inspire the next generation.

Through immersive leadership development, classroom experience and community engagement, fellows will serve as role models and mentors to students across underserved communities. By bringing STEM to life in the classroom, they’ll help unlock curiosity, creativity, and confidence in young learners, especially girls who may never have imagined themselves as future innovators.

Who is this for?

If you’re a female STEM graduate or know someone who has a heart for impact and a mind for possibility, this fellowship could be your next chapter. We’re looking for women who meet the listed criteria and are ready to use their skills to transform lives.

Why it matters

Uganda’s future depends on inclusive innovation. By investing in women in STEM, we’re investing in classrooms where every child can dream bigger, think critically and build boldly. Fellows will lead, inspire and co-create a future where STEM belongs to everyone.
