However, many rural schools continue to face challenges, including a shortage of trained teachers and limited resources. This partnership between Teach For Uganda and LGIHE aims to address these gaps by merging grassroots leadership with academic excellence. Together, they will improve learning outcomes for children in underserved communities, cultivate a pipeline of skilled educators prepared to lead systemic change, and strengthen Uganda’s education ecosystem through progressive policy and innovation.
“This qualification will fuel our alumni's impact, empowering them to drive transformative change in the education sector.,” said Charlotte Iraguha, TFU Managing Director.
Mrs. Akongo Rose Stella, LGIHE Principal, added: “I’m deeply proud to be part of a mission that invests in the people who will shape our education systems from the inside out.”
