Teach For Uganda is building a movement of leaders who are transforming classrooms today and reshaping the education system for tomorrow. Through our two-year teaching Fellowship, STEM-focused learning, and partnerships with communities and schools, we are equipping young leaders to ensure every child, especially girls and those in underserved communities, has access to quality education, climate-aware learning, and pathways to opportunity.

The Leadership Development Program is the heart of Teach For Uganda’s work. Through our flagship two-year Fellowship, we recruit outstanding graduates and young professionals and place them in underserved schools, where they teach full-time while receiving intensive leadership training, coaching, and professional development.

Foundational literacy and numeracy are the building blocks of every child’s education. Without the ability to read, write, count, reason, and understand basic concepts, children struggle to progress through school and participate fully in life.
