The Leadership Development Program is the heart of Teach For Uganda’s work. Through our flagship two-year Fellowship, we recruit outstanding graduates and young professionals and place them in underserved schools, where they teach full-time while receiving intensive leadership training, coaching, and professional development.
Fellows are supported to become effective classroom leaders who improve learning outcomes, strengthen learner confidence, and respond to the realities of the communities they serve. Beyond teaching, they lead community impact projects, engage parents and local leaders, and develop the skills needed to drive change within and beyond the education sector.
This program builds leaders who do not simply teach for two years but carry the lessons of the classroom into a lifetime of leadership.
