Teach For Uganda’s cumulative impact includes 665 Fellows placed, 190 partner schools, 13 districts reached, more than 86,000 learners reached, more than 400 alumni leaders, 12,255 home visits, and 222 community impact projects. In 2025 alone, Teach For Uganda reached 33,756 learners and placed 97 Fellows.

Trusted by schools, districts, and communities

Teach For Uganda’s 2025 survey of district officials and headteachers showed strong institutional support.

99% of district officials confirmed alignment with district priorities. 91% said Teach For Uganda adds value without duplicating existing services. 82% expressed confidence in sustaining the programme once Teach For Uganda exits. Headteachers also reported strong satisfaction with Fellows’ professionalism, classroom management, lesson preparation, and learner engagement, with 98% reporting positive learner impact.
